Vincennes University's Military Education Program has immediate openings for instructors to teach around the globe on board our nations Coast Guard fleet.
Instructors must have Masters degree and 18+ graduate hours in the discipline they would like to instruct. Instructors must be US citizens able to pass security background investigation and physically able to carry 25 lbs. Due to the environment of shipboard life, candidates must be able to traverse steep ladders while ships are deployed.
Ships deploy from ports on both east and west coast, Instructors typically earn between $6,000-$12,000 for 6-8 week deployments. Ports visited while deployed include: Hawaii, Japan, Puerto Vallarta, Trinidad, Aruba, Antigua, and Puerto Rico.
Specific needs are: Spanish I&II, Algebra, All Natural Sciences, English Composition I &II, American and World History, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, all Humanities, and Speech.
