This position is located at Garden City High School. This is a class-with-in-a-class (CWC) position. The special education instructor co-teaches with the content certified instructor in the classroom. The CWC teacher is responsible for modifying lessons and making appropriate accommodations for special education students, while the content instructor does the majority of lesson planning and leads 50% or more of classroom presentations/activities. This position is scheduled as CWC teacher for 4 science classrooms, 1 broadcasting class, and 1 government class this school year.
