    Job Details
Successful candidate will provide classroom simulation, laboratory and clinical instruction and evaluation and complete associated professional responsibilities. Participate in enrollment management activities and sharing of professional expertise with colleagues and students beyond the classroom. Provide support and in some cases provide the leadership for student recruitment, marketing, and in general activities that build a program. Support student activities, include course and career guidance to students, mentor, and foster a love of learning.

Instruct various Business courses as assigned by the MVTHS administration. This is with the possibility of coaching and/or supervising extracurricular activities.

Job Qualifications
Have appropriate Illinois teaching license or be eligible for license based on education and work experience in Business.

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board of education may prescribe

Experience working with diverse populations preferred.

Must have strong computer and communication skills, team oriented, self starter, ability to work with students with varying abilities from diverse backgrounds.

Desired Qualifications
Teaching experience in a high school or vocational school in a related subject matter.

Job Description
Monitor, promote and support Career and Technical Education.

Provide instruction for assigned courses. This includes preparation, in-class activities, evaluation of students’ work, consultation with students outside of class, maintenance of curriculum in the subjects taught and other efforts related to the teaching of the assigned classes.

Assisting where and when needed on required curriculum competency levels.

Must have consumer education certification

Supervise students in out-of-classroom activities.

Monitor, promote and support FBLA Leadership Chapter.

Complete and submit all documentation as required.

Deal with students, parents, staff and others in a positive, encouraging manner.

Act ethically and confidentially in all aspects of employment.

Strengthen academics and CTE skills.

Develop, improve, or expand technology into all aspects of CTE programs to provide modern industry standard experiences.
