This position reports to the Director of Special Education, and is responsible for the psychological, educational, developmental, social, and emotional assessment of children, birth to age 21 who are Deaf / hard-of-hearing, and who may have other disabilities.
Qualifications: Specialist Degree in School Psychology, or Master’s Degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university; Must hold or be eligible for appropriate educator licensure in the State of Colorado as a Special Services Provider, endorsed in School Psychology; Three (3) years of successful experience in assessment and service provision to children with sensory disabilities; Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) at the Advanced skill level as demonstrated by an appropriate assessment tool and according to school policy.
