Position is for a full-time pastry arts instructor at an accredited culinary and pastry school in Tulsa, OK. The qualified applicant should have at least 5 years of leadership experience in a pastry or baking position. Working with scratch product and using classical methods in pastry, international breads, Cakes and decorating techniques, chocolates, and presentation techniques.
An Associates of Science in Culinary or Pastry Arts is preferable for Pastry. The ideal applicant would be able to work well with multiple leaners in a classroom of an average of 12 to 15 students.
Platt College has been in Tulsa for 30 years and has had a Culinary and Pastry program open in Oklahoma City for 7 years. The Pastry/Culinary School in Tulsa opened in November of 2009 and is growing rapidly with enrollments monthly.
