The Executive Director of Special Education and Support Services will lead and direct all of the District's special education and related services programs and supervise the departmental assistant directors, supervisors and other personnel assigned to Special Education.
Reports directly to the Chief Academic Officer.
-Must hold a Director of Special Education license issued by the Minnesota Department of Education
-A minimum of five years of administrative experience in a school district and
-A minimum of five years of experience in special education.
-Experience as a principal and/or special education director.
-Experience in developing and implement curriculum and instruction.
-Experience working at the state or national level in education and/or special education issues.
