To assist the Principal in the administration of the school:
Develop and administer programs to increase parent participation
Monitor qualitative monthly reports; collect data
Provide leadership for school programs; new student orientation, assembly, graduation etc
Prepare master schedule
Staff orientation and professional development
Compliance for Special Education programs
Monitors After-school programs
Oversees, and monitors Parent Program Initiatives i.e. Parent Council, Parent Volunteers, etc
Ensures implementation of A Disciplined Life and Perspectives Charter Schools way throughout school culture
Teacher/student class schedules conducive to best practice
Assists in the development, implementation and interpretation of personnel policies
Standardized testing schedule and test preparation strategies
Oversight of student information systems i.e. PowerSchool, admission and enrollment processes and compliance related data
Oversight of Foodservice operations
Promotes efficient and effective school/parent relations
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an Educational Masters Degree program from an accredited college/university or in Senior year level of college
Proven communication skill excellence – both written and verbal
Proven ability to work well with diverse constituents
Proven ability to exercise good judgment and function independently in the conduct of position responsibilities
Proven multi-tasking ability
Experience working in highly sensitive situations and maintaining confidential information
Proven organizational skills
