BIG SPRING INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT seeks a Secondary Science Teacher to work in Big Spring, TX. Duties: Plan a program of study that meets the needs, interests and abilities of students; establish objectives for all lessons, unit projects and communicate objectives to students; employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media. Assess the accomplishments of students and provide progress reports; observe students for possible learning disabilities and refer to specialists as needed; maintain accurate, complete and current records as required by district policies and procedures, attend staff meetings and meet with students and parents as required. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in any field (or foreign equivalent) + Texas Teacher certification in Science. 40 hrs/wk. 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM. $35,040.00 per year.
